Heinz and his crew at Gold Coast Pool did a great job and were great to work with too. They stripped our pool down to the gunnite, fixed rusted rebar, bead cleaned the tile, re-did the Deco Seal, replastered with a pebble finish, and added a new LED light and PurChlor salt sanitation system, and did the startup.
Their price was competitive, and from beginning to end they were easy to communicate with and stayed on or ahead of schedule.
As the work was done during the heavy winter rains, Heinz took extra precautions while the pool was empty so that it wouldn’t potentially lift out of the ground (I’ve seen it happen).
It’s been about 5 months and we couldn’t be happier. I’ve recommended Gold Coast to several friends and neighbors without hesitation.

If you’re going to have your pool resurfaced, you may as well do it right. Our pool was in bad shape. Missing tiles, rusty skimmer, the pool light hadn’t worked in many decades. We interviewed several pool companies but Heinz was truly the most knowledgable of them all. His crews worked quickly and efficiently. We are just so happy with the work he and his crews did. He was easy to reach and stopped by almost every day to check on the progress. We had benches put into the pool, a new electrical junction box, new pipes to the filter… they were digging under ground and working miracles. They barely had to move a few bricks on the surface patio – every other pool company said they would have to tear up the concrete but Heinz’s plumbing crew are truly miracle workers. Worth every penny would highly recommend and would use again.

We were so happy with the work Heinz and his team did with our pool. They transformed our dingy old pool into a beautiful brand new pool (see attached pics). He has incredible pool knowledge and provided great guidance with regard to enhancing the surrounding area! His team is extremely skilled and the overall project was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company. Also, the pricing of the project was a great value.

Wow is all I gotta say about gold coast . Heinz was so so responsive with all my concerns and questions. Priced perfect for his work quality . He also has lots of experience which was very assuring. His crew was fast ,clean , professional, and knowledgeable about there craft . I wouldn’t have anyone go anywhere else besides gold coast . I sincerely trust there work , quality of material , and professionalism. they did the pebble , tile , add a bench on the deep end , full plumbing , add a auto fill line , add better suction lines , upgraded light in pool , move electrical line , and of course demo the old stuff .

Very happy with my refinished pool. Heinz and his crew were all very professional, friendly and hard working. Considering they were working in direct sunlight when it was 100F outside and doing it so quickly, I was very impressed. It started with demo day that took around 4-5 hours to totally remove all the old plaster and tile. Took about a week after that for the tile (the tile I picked was waiting for a new shipment cause they only had 2 boxes). Once all the tile was on hand it took about 2 full days to get it all done. My pool has a lot of curves so it takes a lot more work (multiple angle cuts) than if they were just strait walls. Then to install the mini pebble I chose took about 4-5 hours and they came back to acid wash and fill it the next day. Wish I took a before picture to show you how different and more modern it looks now. Definitely recommend!

We spoke to a few contractors before picking Heinz and the Gold Coast Pool team and I am so glad we did. Price is not the lowest we got but his quote is fair. He is not pushy at all and will not insist that you get something just to make more money from you. In fact, he will do the opposite.
We did a lot of reading on what we wanted done in our pool and in the process we encountered upgrades and updates that we thought we “needed.” Heinz is very upfront and told us if we needed it or not.
Heinz, Ana and the rest of their crew is the best. They’re easy to talk to, dependable and most of all trustworthy.

I strongly recommend Heinz and the Gold Coast Pool team! First and foremost, they communicate well and show up when they say they will show up! Second, Heinz knows his stuff – proposed reasonable prices (not the cheapest but you get what you pay for – fair pricing), and most importantly for our project – Third, Heinz and his team stuck with it even when they encountered lots of hidden conditions, concealed pipe issues and leaks not related to their bid scope. Heinz kept showing up to fix things until we were 100% complete and even after to help me with the automated controls systems after a few months. It’s important to pick good people, who do good work, who don’t try to “get over on you”, and who are fair and reasonable. Gold Coast and Heinz are the choice!!

When the fiberglass bottom on our pool disintegrated, we obtained a few estimates. Each contractor noted that there was also substantial re-plumbing that needed to be done. We decided to go with concrete this time instead of fiberglass. After talking to each contractor, we decided to go with Gold Coast Pool, and we are so grateful that we did. Working with Heinz was such a positive experience. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive. The work was done on a very timely basis, and communication with Heinz was always prompt. The employees who worked on every aspect
